A Phenomenon- (Blog)
Indian subcontinent having majority of the population in
villages with agriculture as their main profession. Cultivationg based on flora
and fauna.
The main water sources for life and agriculture are
fromwells, ponds, tanks, streams, rivers and rain water/melting ice . Nature
blessed mankind with seasons during every cyclic year.
Each and every climatic change is predictively assessed,
calculated and tabulated in the form of tables in panchangam, which is a ready
reference for preparedness against climatic changes including the calamities
during the seasons.
In the summer when water bodies are dried up,
dredging/desilting is executed and the mud is preserved, moulded later in the
form of big/huge/jiant defined form, which are used by the people for a
happening with a cause and reason.
During that, the defined form is decorated with lot of small
plants, leaves, herbs, flowers, and seeds with a plan of perfecty recycling.
There by preserving ecosystem. The celebration is carried for a period of nine
days for the decorated herbs and seeds
seasoned/germinated/fulfilled.
The jaint form with all the decorations and with the new
growth is taken back to the waterbodies which are already adequately filled
with flora and fauna for absorbing back into.
The outcome of the celebration:
1. Gaining
water in the dry conditions of summer for domestic and irrigational purposes.
2. Recharging
the waterbodies with enriched mud (small plants, leaves, herbs, flowers,
and germinated seeds).
3. The
additions are nothing but food to the life in the water, water gets oxidized
and energized which is perfect recycling and preservation of nature.
It is essential for the mankind to show gratitude by
returning a little to the mother nature……………………….
Either in the way of celebration or thanks giving………………..🤝🙏🏻
